Hi Leo, its very sad news about Michael Jackson. No doubt you’ve heard it said that his voice is similar to yours in You Make Me Feel Like Dancing. Did you ever meet him and his brothers in the 1970’s? Did you meet him in a later decade? You both started a new stage of your career in 1976 with a disco sound and I have idolised you both. How will you remember the King of Pop? I certainly wish all our idols could live forever. Take care.

I have been having dance parties in my classroom to the song "You make me feel like dancin." I found you on You Tube and I am a big. How come you put your voice for Mario? Why did you sing with the Wiggles and the Muppets? They were great. I am seven years old. Am I your youngest fan?
By: JACQUELINE at 20/06/2009 07:58:34
Hi Leo, I have some questions for you too. I've just been watching Leo Sayer in concert on you tube, some of your early songs such as 'The Dancer' and 'Good Night Old Friend'. It must have been about the time you first became famous as you were wearing your clowns cotsume which your then wife Janice designed for you. Well one question is, can you please tell me who the band members were in your band at that time? Would it have been Roxy Music? I seem to recall you telling us on one of your radio shows once that you first toured with them, is that right? Is the girl you met in 'The Dancer' about a former girlfriend of yours? intrigued to know. Roll on when you return to us soon, you're surely missed. Looking forward to your answers, and in advance thank you Leo Sayer. Best wishes, Jackie Jacqueline
By: JOANN at 20/06/2009 05:07:21
Dear Leo, You had mentioned in a magazine article that you would never work with Richard Perry again because the two of you clashed on writing styles etc. Have you changed your mind since then? Who were your favorite producers to work with and why? Are there any current people that you admire and would like to work with? I think your own production work on "Voice in my Head"was brilliant and would really love another like it of your own new compositions. Are you writing more now? I hope that there will be an album of your new songs in the future.Best wishes always,JoAnn

Hi Leo, would like to know please is your childhood house at 196b Upper Shoreham Rd, still in existance? is there a blue plaque on the wall of the house to say that Leo Sayer was born and lived there? was the choir you were in a male voice choir or was it a mixed church choir? did you have a childhood sweetheart or girlfriend when you were twelve? your song 'Dancing The Night Away' is one I can relate to as well. I look forward to your answers, and hope you'll come back to us all again soon.

Hi Leo, I read somewhere that it was David Courtney who was the founder of Leo Sayer. How did that come about, and when did that occur?
Before you became famous, what was your favourite occupation? Is Fred Astair one of your hero's, who are your other hero's? And is that what your song 'Hero's is about on your album 'World Radio'?
I look forward to your answers. Hoping you are well and that you'll be back with us soon. with all good wishes from charlotte.

Dear Leo,Hi! Its just me again asking more silly personal questions. Did you ever have any jobs when you were still just a boy to earn pocket money? If so ,what were they? What kind of chores did you have to do at home? You have mentioned that you had an old Volkswagon a long time ago. When did you get it ? Thanks again for taking the time to answer all our questions. Please come back soon, we miss you!!
By: CHARLOTTE at 12/06/2009 20:54:58
Hi Leo, me too concerned and hope you are well and wondering why the length of time its taken you this time to interact with us. You're interaction with us is greatly appreciated.
I hope you haven't gone back to messaging us half yearly as I think that was the way you origianlly started. Hope its not down to illness and hope you haven't decided to take an early retirement cause life wouldn't be the same without Leo Sayer, entertaining us all. I for one would miss you greatly. Please message us soon. Thanks.

Hi,
My name is David Simmons and Im a manager at a customer service center in Arkansas these days, however, in my previous life I worked in Radio.
In my new role, I am in charge of 9 different teams with 9 different Supervisors. To inspire them and lead them, I have come up with the concept of turning my office into a Wall Of Fame! What better way to show leadership than to have the leaders of today's autographed photos form a Wall Of Fame. Every day my Supervisors and Customer Care Representatives can get inspired by the world's best....and you are one of them.
Thus I am humbly asking for your autographed photo to add to the collection. It has started with a bang with the likes of political newsman Joe Scarborough, rock and roller Joan Jett and quarterback Peyton Manning to name a few. Won't you allow us to put you on our Wall Of Fame?
Thanks,
David Simmons

The person I know is in Canada. I wonder whether Leo knows her? - the lady's name is Pat and Janice is a cousin (or first cousin). Also, I have a friend and the name of her road well I always want to call it 'Orchard Road' thinking of Leo's song 'Orchard Road'. But the road is Orchard Avenue. The name's so close. I like Leo's song's 'The Kid's Grown Up' 'One Man Band', 'When I Need You', 'Silverbird' with the original lyrics which I believe Leo wrote as a poem, and 'Dancing The Night Away', I can relate to 'Dancing The Night Away' .
By: at 11/06/2009 06:03:56
Leo would never have called his wife Janice that, don't believe that for one minute. Leo's a good chap. I know someone who knows Janice. And its good we're penfriends.

Hi Leo -
I am one of the organisers of the Sompting Festival, which takes place annually on the first weekend in June as part of the wider Adur Festival.
We are a free community festival, and many local artistes give their time free of charge to entertain in our marquee, and they themselves enjoy the intimate experience. We have no shortage of bands and individuals wanting to play.
I was just wondering, as you are fairly local (in fact, I think my wife was brought up just a few houses from you!) whether you might consider doing a small set for us next year? Our dates will be 4-6 June 2010.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards
Tim Clarke

Dear Leo,
I have been a fan of your music for sometime, up until recently I was really only aware of your more "popular" music, ie; Raining in my heart etc, but recently I searched Youtube for more of your music and found brilliant live footage, this really opened my eyes to just how talented you really are, songs like "The Dancer" and "Orchard Rd" are amazing, your voice is an extraordinary instrument, which is very rare, there are not to many artists, Blixa Bargeld excluded, who can use their voice in this way, most artists rely on guitar, drums etc to convey beat, but your vocal talent provides all the highs and lows of your songs.
I just recently had a birthday and recieved a "JB-HiFi" voucher and went on the search for the DVD of the concert that i mentioned before or "Silverbird" and couldn't find either! but I will keep looking and looking!
Anywho, Just really wanted to let you know that I am now a massive fan and that you can expect your CD sales to jump.
Regards,
D.Glover

It's like i am re-living my teenage years by coming across your website. My date is made reading the bio of my childhood pop idol. Iam a Nigerian, and i am sending this mail from Lagos, Nigeria. I started collecting your muisic way back in 1979 when i was barely 10 years old,but lost touch in the late 80's as the listening preferences for most Nigerians changed from British pop to black American Music. I am a Pharmacist by professional but gradually turning my attention to music business, nuturing and sponsoring young Nigerian talents. All this due to inspirations i drew listening to your music and other great artistes.
I am really happy coming across your site and listening to a medly of your songs.

Lancaster Opera House

Dear Leo:
The Lancaster Opera House is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) performing Arts Theater in a suburb of Buffalo, NY. Built in 1894, this 400 seat Victorian Style theater has been providing quality entertainment to the Western New York community for the last 27 years. Much of the funding that supports our children’s workshops and development programming has been restricted with budget cuts. With this bump in the road we are trying to remain positive and seek other avenues of revenue for funding of our programs. This is where we are asking you for your assistance.
The Lancaster Opera House will be featuring an acoustic series that showcases the songwriter and their craft. Starting in July 2009, we are going to hold a summer long celebrity on-line auction. The theme of the auction is “Heart of the Song”. Our fundraiser will tie in nicely with the theme of the singer-songwriter performances. We are hoping that you could donate a few minutes of your time to handwrite and autograph the lyrics to a song that you wrote or recorded, for our auction. We would also welcome any other item(s) that you can provide for our fundraiser.
Your act of kindness will help support our Arts in Education outreach initiative which introduces the Performing Arts to childen and students. Please contact me should you have any questions or need assistance with the shipping for your items. Together, we can make a difference, one song at a time.
Sincerely,
David fillenwarth

Hi Leo, what and when was the first car you ever owned? Was it the black BMW you had that was lined with cream seats? And what happened to the silvery grey people carrier you had four years ago? I recall seeing it in the carpark of the Holiday Inn Hotel at Eastleigh. Do you ever hear from Alan Sutton at all? since the closure of the Leo Sayer fanclub in 1999. I remember meeting him, thanks. Also, I think I read somewhere you also play the harp - how long have you played that instrument for and which is your favourite instrument you like playing? What happened to your friends 'Heaven Sent'? And would you like me to send you the copy of the article featuring when you were fire hero at the King's Hotel in Hove in Jan 1967?

Dear Leo, Do you still have your Volkswagon Toureg or have you gotten a new car? I know that you are a racing fan.Do you have what we in the States call a "lead foot"? In other words ,do you like to drive fast? Any speeding tickets? You mentioned in the past that you were injured in a serious accident. How did it happen?

Dear Leo,
Here in Fife, Scotland we are very proud of the Black Watch, our local regiment. A video put on You Tube to remember the fallen in their number was set to your song "Giving it all Away". this soundtrack has now been removed due to copyright infringement. please watch the video with your song in the backround and then ask for the soundtrack to be re-instated as I am sure you will agree that this is the sort of thing that the song was written for. You won't lose any money but you will gain much respect : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uVVBIKqeQc

hi Albert
have you written any more songs with Albert Hammond? i know you are in Australia but distance never stops Elton and Bernie from collaborating!
I wondered if you might have demos of any songs that didn't make it onto Revolution (Albert's album) or Voice (yours). I heard 'Save your tears' once]. I loved most of the songs and it's sad they weren't better received by the public

Dear Leo Sayer,
My daughter, Oona Matilde Erickson, has been a big fan of yours since she first saw you. She was not quite 2 years old when she saw you on the Muppet Show. She loved all of your songs and dancing on that show, but her favorite song of all was "When I Need Love." She called you "Man Tree Boom" for the longest time, because of the skit done with that song where the animals try to get you out of the tree while you sing. She has perfomed and sung this song countless amounts of times, in front of family and friends. She loves all of your music and says, "Oona love Leo Sayer". We put up this video as an example for you to see of her performing your song. I thought I'd let you know in case you wanted to see it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgeFF4P3rT4
Thank You,
Sarah and Levi Erickson

Hi Leo.
I am an old fan in many senses of the word...first album I ever bought was your "Just a boy" (in its first year I think). I battled to decide between it and Tubular bells!! Still have both.
Tried to find original "Giving it all away" version in iTunes and couldn't..only later versions?
Have done a lot in my life that I am happy about, and your songs live still in my physche...from the best times of my youth.
Great to see your an Aussie citizen. We are the better country for it. All the best

My name is David Agius and I am writing this email to you from Malta.
I lived in Australia for 30 years between 1963- 1993. I have been hooked on Leo Sayer music since the mid 70's since I heard about him for the first time.
When I lived in Australia I used to do radio programs, which I always used to include Leo Sayer music.Once a year, I also used to do the Leo Sayer program, which used to include his life story plus his records. The program used to go down extremly well with the listeners.
Here in Malta I do radio programs consisting of 50's, 60's,70's, 80's and Pop Rock music, especially Leo Sayer kind of music.I still do a program once a year about Leo Sayer here also, and it also is enjoyed by my listeners.
I will be most obliged if you could send me a photograph, possibly signed by Leo Sayer, so that I can hang it with the rest of my collection in my records room.
Thank you Leo, for all the contribution you had given to the music world, and all the happiness you have brought into our lives

Dear Leo,
I love your music!
I'm reaching out to you on a subject dear to my heart. In fact I've sold my house and put my savings toward an upcoming 500 mile run across Britain in chains to raise awareness and motivate change in public perception of the victims of modern slavery. By singing at the United Nations global conference on human trafficking last year in Vienna, I learned heaps about this field and my role in the work.
I'm writing because I saw that this is a work you already care about and I need your help to reach the masses with this extreme event.
will you please email me or call at 250-538-0929 to discuss further?

By: SHERRY NIGHT at 17/05/2009 11:49:18
Dear Leo Sayer
My name is Sherry, and I am in grade 7. I started taking guitar lessons last year, and want to start a band when I get in highschool. I listen to some of my Dads cd's, and your stuff is great. We are doing a project in music class on great musicians of the of the past and present. Most people are doing their projects on Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Buddy Holly , and groups that are not around anymore. Dad suggested I do my project on you, and has been helping me get started. He also thought it would be a good idea to send you an email, and request an autograph, and ask you what your favorite live performance is. I can send you Canadian stamps if you like.
Thank you very much for your time, and the amazing songs on your cd's. I look forward to hearing back from you.
Sincerely

I am 45 years old Ethiopian living in Addis Ababa. I am married and have two children (10 and 5 years old daughter and son, respectively). I grew up listening your song to which my family is now addicted to: “I love you More than I can Say”. This song is the ring tone of my life and souls of my family. We all love you and wish you a happy and healthier life. We are really interested to know more about your life.
Kindest regards

G'Day Leo,
I remember enjoying your BBC TV Series when I lived back in Blighty in the '70's
( or '80's? )
Don't suppose you kept a copy on 16mm or magnetic tape, that you could attach to this website? Do you think maybe Auntie still has a copy in their Archives?
Cheers, Lee
By: RICHARD at 07/05/2009 22:23:47
I'm trying to find a copy of World Radio on CD. No luck so far. Any thoughts. It's my favourite Leo Sayer album, especially the Bruce Cockburn song Wonder Where the Lions Are.
By: JACKIE at 07/05/2009 16:17:03
Leo once wore a ponytail in the nineties about 1991 time, I am lead to believe, and I think he does on the 'Cool Touch' album, I seem to recall.
By: JOANN at 07/05/2009 14:41:47
Dear Leo, You always seem to dress very well. Even when it is casual, you are very well put together. Do you have your clothing tailored just for you ? But I must admit that I love you in a nice tailored suit. The photo from the old website comes to mind, I believe it was taken in Belgium. Very sharp !! Have you ever grown a beard , or thought about it ? Was there ever a time when you let yourself get really scruffy ? Any photos ? Thanks again for answering my questions, hope you are well and happy. Best wishes, JoAnn

Hello lovely Leo, I received your gift yesterday and its taken me 24 hours just to compose myself enough to write this message. I am absolutely astounded at your amazing generosity and thoughtfulness, its as if all of my Christmases and birthdays have arrived at once. The huge box with the signed and framed photo and signed CD has left me stunned. I could write forever to express my gratitude, but instead I’ll say just one thing: to all the Leo fans out there, Leo is a truly FANTASTIC person! I look forward to the new project you’re working on.

Hi Leo - just want to say a big thank you to you for giving me the idea of learning the computer when we spoke about technology in our conversation that night in Blackpool on Thurs 14th October, 1999. I still remember the date as well as the night. Do you recall it at all?
And whilst I think of it, I recall you saying in one of your radio programmes on Classic Gold that you recorded one of your 1970's programmes at a place called Lindisferne. Hope I've got the name and spelling right, and am also sure you mentioned about you fell off a horse or something. Please can you tell me about that particular episode?
Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you,

I'd like to setup a PR stunt for a bit of fun. I am a fan of Leo, and I have "You make me feel like dancing" as one of my favorites on my bus. If I could organise the papperatzi, could I be driving my bus with a bunch full of women (hens nite) and just so happen to pick up Leo outside a restuarant, for a quick song. It may even get some TV coverage.
At least for no other purpose than a laugh. I am in Sydney.

Leo,
I just wanted to let you know that I recently bought the Muppet show collection and have been watching all the episodes with my five year old daughter Isabella. When we got to the episode where you sang you make me feel like dancing and the show must go on, she was instantly a fan. She now knows all the words to both songs and can imitate your dancing in the show. I have not been able to watch anymore of the episodes because the minute I get the muppet dvds out she pulls out the one with you on it and we watch it over and over three or four times. THANKS FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT.
P.S. she wanted me to write you this letter...

Hello Leo,
I'm contacting you on behalf of the Free Appreciation Society of which I am one of the far flung members.
Way WAY back, in Silverbird days, you were on The Old Grey Whistle Test. Paul Kossoff was on the same programme being interviewed about his then new band, Back Street Crawler. Do you remember anything of it? If so, would you mind sharing your recollections either by email, over the phone or even in person?

Hi Leo, I was a teenager when your biggest hits were out and I loved your music. I want to be able to send you a request relating to a charity I have set up that supports child survivors of war and terrorism through creative arts and music and play therapy. I can't seem to find the name/address of your Agent on the site. Please let me know to what address to send a formal letter to you requesting your support for a fundraiser or other support that you may be willing to provide. If you want to see the website in the meantime, please see : www.renewthespirit.org.au We are independent, not linked to any political or religious body. All committee members are volunteers. Our advisory Board includes Dr Barry Jones, one of Australia's 100 Living National Treasures. We would love to be able to discuss the possibility of you being a Community Ambassador for us and/or hosting a fund-raising cocktail party or of course performing at a fundraising concert. Any way you think you may be able to support us would be fantastic. Is is amazing to have someone of your distinction from the musical world living here now!
Thanks.... Phil West (Dr) pw@renewthespirit.org.au

Hi Leo, just thought of a couple more questions to ask you sorry. Andy Hill, I believe wrote the song 'Making Your Mind Up', which was Bucks Fizz's 1981 Eurovision song-contest winner. I am wondering didn't he also co-write one of your songs? If so, was it the song called 'Have You Ever Been In Love' ?
I look forward to hearing from you and in advance as always, thank you Leo Sayer for answering all my Leo Sayer queries, I am greatly appreciated to you. My birthday's just twenty days before yours x

On Saturday the 25th of April in 10 countries, 100 cities, people will be abducting themselves to rescue the Child soldiers in Uganda. Approx 900 people in Sydney will be walking on mass across Sydney Harbour Bridge at 3pm and eventually sleeping out in the Botanical Gardens after an evening rally between 8pm - 11pm. To then be rescued in the morning by wonderful people like you. If we get rescued we get to go home. Please visit the Invisible Children website to see why all these amazing people are doing this for the children. http://www.invisiblechildren.com/home.php . Your involvement in the telling of this story will help to bring these Ugandan children home. With regards Shani (0414615448)

I was looking on YouTube for "Long Tall Glasses" . I found the video, but the music playing is not "Long Tall Glasses". Something about WMG. and copyrights. I have no idea what WMG is, but I think Leo needs to check that out. I love that song, and I have never seen Leo performing it. I hope it can get cleared up! Have a good day!

To whom it may concern,
My name is David Agius and I am writing this email to you from Malta.
I lived in Australia for 30 years between 1963- 1993. I have been hooked on Leo Sayer music the early 70's since I heard about him for the first time.
When I lived in Australia I used to do radio programs, which I always used to include Leo Sayer music.Once a year, I also used to do the Leo Sayer program. which used to include his life story plus his records. The program used to go down extremly well with the listeners.
Here in Malta I do radio programs consisting of 50's, 60's, 70's and country music, especially Leo Sayer kind of music.I still do a program once a year about Leo Sayer here also, and it also is enjoyed by my listeners.
I will be most obliged if you could send me a photograph, possibly signed by Leo Sayer so that I can hang it with the rest of my collection in my records room.
Thank you Leo, for all the you contribution you had given to the music world, and all the happiness you have brought into our lives

Hi Leo, I know you have a song called 'Ghosts', featured on your CD 'Here'. Am wondering if that's any connection to Joann's query on ghosts?
Also, did you co-write 'The Meaning Of Life', with Todd Sharpville? Oh and I have seen your page on
my space.com and noticed they've got your star sign as Capricorn, but I always thought you're a Taurus aren't you? I think I read once you're a book collector. Do you still collect books? Also, I've got a photocopy of the articles when you were Hotel Porter at the King's Hotel in Hove, 27th Jan1967, you became fire hero. There's a small pic of you in one of the articles - would you like them? as I read on a Brighton and Hove website once, you lost your copy of the article. Looking forward to your answers, and as always in advance thank you Leo Sayer.

Dear Leo, Thanks so much for answering my questions. Now I have another for you. Do you believe in the paranormal ?,UFO's , ghosts and such? Have you ever seen anything in the night sky that you could not explain? Ever seen any ghosts, or experienced any hauntings or strange occurances? Do you still go to church?or did you stop going, like a lot of us,after you escaped from Catholic school? Just curious.Lots of love and best wishes, JoAnn

Hi Leo.
I`ve got a question for you. "Long tall glasses" is one of my favorite songs and I was wondering why has it got such title? Thanks in advance. Love, Anya

Hi Leo, What's the story behind the song 'Blame It On The Night' and please can you remind me what album that song appears on. I have a feeling its on Leo's Live In London album. Is that the only time that song has ever been recorded/released?
And also, I read once your sister, Kathleen was ward sister at Great Ormond Street Hospital. I find interesting, cause I had my major heart op done there in 1967/68 and I would love to know please if your sister was ward sister on the ward I was on which was 1A? Also, I seem to remember in one of your radio programmes, you mentioned something about Spinal Tap, please can you evoke my memory what that was? Oh and I thank you again for letting me know about the people you've performed duets with and that some of them are on You Tube. I found the one of you duetting with Linda Rondstadt, performing the song 'Tumbling Dice'. Hope I've remembered that right. I enjoyed watching and listening to it. Thanks for that Leo. I look forward to your answers to my queries, and in advance, thanks for answering them Leo, much appreciated.

Leo, Years ago, I heard a song "Takin' the Brakes Off" written by you that appears to be never recorded. It was actually a song played during the movie "Making the Grade". Do you know where to get a copy of this song? I'm sure your fan base would appreciate a previously unreleased copy of this song. I know I would. Best, John

Hi Leo, I had to pause and catch my breath this month, because I simply can not believe I’ve won the star question. I made the post last month as I thought a comment on who actually wrote You Make Me Feel Like Dancing was needed. Glad to hear it brought back nice memories. You really are a true Star and inspiration, taking time to answer soooo many questions. Take Care.

I wonder if Florence would happen to be Leo Sayer's ex-wife Janice? I know Florence her middle name and If it is, please could you get in touch with a relative of yours by the name of Pat Robson, in Canada - she's been trying for a number of years to locate you. It would be good if you could both be reunited, after all this time.

Leo: my parents have your Endless Flight album, and it's since become one of my favorites in terms of songs and cover art. I think your music's far better than most of the pre-packaged nonsense here in America masquerading in music.

Hello again, Leo!
I know you didn`t have a chance to answer my previous lot of questions yet but I`ve already got MORE :-)
1. How did you come up with the name Leo for yourself? Does anyone still call you Gerald?
2. What kind of food do you like? Do you cook at all?
3. What kind of films do you like to watch? Any favorite ones? Do you go to the cinema or prefer to watch DVDs at home?
4. Are you currently married or in a relationship? (see, I don`t know anything about you!) What qualities should a woman have to win your heart? :-)
Ok, that`s it...for now. Thank you and have a happy Easter! Love. Anya

Hello Leo.
I just wanted to thankyou for the version of 'you make me feel like dancing' on the wiggles new show. It's being shown daily in the UK since January, and the wiggles are a big favourite of my two and a half year old son. Especially when you appear, we both jump up and dance every time. I'm 37, so remember it the first time around, but just thought it might make you smile to know the song is giving such joy to one so young, he loves it ( and so do I!)
Cheers Leo. xx

Hi Leo,
I met you briefly at Bessie Bardot's Birthday about a year ago. I am a frustrated musician who has met a dead end and is looking for some of the inspiration that you exude. Do you ever consider taking on paying students to pass on your gift? Your songs are such an inspiration to me and I see you as a true master of music. I have the privilege of working for an artistic genius, Charles Billich, and I would give anything to further my true passion for music from someone who's songs have given me so much joy throughout my life.
Thank You for your consideration,
Rayma

Dear Leo, what's been your favourite moment of your musical carer, and what's been your worst moment in it? Also, was the German girls name Jackie, Jackie, Jacqueline, you mentioned in one episode of 'The Entertainers' programme back in 2000-2001 time. Was she German ? When you appeared as a guest on 'This Is Your Life' programme once, you were seated by Barry Sheen. Is that the only time you have met Barry Sheen, or had you met him before then? And can you please remind me who you were guest to on that show? How did you get to meet and know Damon Hill, does he still play guitar in your band?
I look forward to your answers. And in advance, thank you Leo Sayer.

Hello Leo, I have followed your career and loved your music (seems like) FOREVER. Saw you in person many times and each time I was more astonished at the power of your voice. You didn't even need a microphone at the Valley Forge Music Theater in Pennsylvania. You are truely one amazing Man and Entertainer.. Just to let you know how much you have made an impression on me. Keep singing ! ! Love - Dayle

Hi Leo! It`s Anya again. I`ve got some questions for you. Here goes:
1. Have you ever had a scary or even a life threatening experience with your fans? For example the crowd went wild and everyone wanted a little a piece of Leo Sayer :-)? If yes, when and what exactly happened?
2. What is your reaction to people recognising you on the streets, wanting your autographs, pictures with you and so on?
3. Out of all the songs you have recorded do you have a favorite one?
4. Is there a place in the world that you never had chance to visit but you always wanted to?
5. What is your idea of relaxation? How do you like to spend your free time?
6. Can you think of the happiest and the saddest moments of your life?
Thanks!

Hi Leo You are such a busy guy but I wonder if you remember meeting someone at Melbourne Airport 1.12.07 waiting for luggage from Sydney flight telling you that all the children at Albert Street Primary School in Moe all dance to your music every morning. We are educating a whole new generation!!!! Soon after you released You Make Me Feel Like Dancing ( our favourite) with the Wiggles. Did I inspire you. I teach preps with Julie- another of your older devotees and we invite you to visit us here in Moe anytime you would like. We would love to send you a video to show you their brilliant dancing but not sure where to send it. Keep singing and dancing- we all love it. All the best Chris

Hi Leo, sorry for another question. Am interested to know why you have never sung any duets with anyone and if you did who would you choose?
I am told you were at the Melbourne Grandprix on Sunday. I hope you enjoyed your time there.
By: ANYA at 01/04/2009 22:35:53
Dear Leo
Believe it or not but the first time I ` ve heard the name Leo Sayer was only several month ago. Maybe it was because I was born in early 80s in Ukraine - the country that used to be a part of former USSR.I guess I was surrounded by different kind of music and unfortunately never came across to any of your songs. I`ve moved to UK about 5 years ago.
But not so long ago I have accidently found some of your videos on YouTube and the moment I`ve heard you singing I fell in love with your beautiful voice and amazing songs.Your music have touched my heart in a way I never experienced before. I was so shocked in a wonderful way that I did something I don`t normally do - I bought a CD. Your CD. I normally listen to the music on a radio or on the Internet so it`s the third CD I have bought for myself in my entire life. I love it so much that I play it over and over again.
Even my 3 years old son absolutely loves your music. He must be one of your youngest fans. He even tries to sing along to his favorite "long tall glasses" and "thunder in my heart" - if only you could see him, he is so funny!
I really would like to know more about your professional and private life but all the questions I can think of right now are too personal. The least thing I would want is to seem disrespectful or make you fell uncomfortable with my questions so I will think of something more appropriate next time.
I wish you all the happiness in the world. You are truly an amazing person and deserve all the best. Thank you for such a special music that fills my heart with love every time I hear it.
You probably receive hundreds of similar letters every day but I still wanted to let you know how much I love you and appreciate your music.
Please excuse my grammar as English isn`t my first language
Love
Anya

Bit of a random email but I'm considering a move to Australia, possibly via the Distinguished Talent route. Just wondered whether you might be able to recommend an immigration agent/lawyer or offer any tips? Thanks very much in anticipation,
Best wishes,
