Hi Leo,
How are you?
Just a quick hello and to thank you for acknowledging us when we were leaving the restaurant last night. I guess you can feel when people are having a quick glance over at you…… Hope you enjoyed your meal, isn’t Korean food is great! Although I grew up with your music I spent a while afterwards explaining you & your music to my wife and her brothers who are Korean. I can’t sing for &*%# so I’m afraid the rendition of “I feel like dancing” was so bad and I didn’t even dare try “Moonlighting” – singing is best left for the experts).

Wow, I see Chris Thompson’s message just signed as C.
Also, sorry I meant to put F1 not f1 as I had put. it was late at night here when I posted that message. I saw Leo’s post’s on Joe Saward’s blog and interesting, you mentioned, Malaya, (know the Grand Prix has been held there too. Malaya is now called Malaysia). Also reading the post regarding the radio recording, I recall Leo Sayer presented a series of ten of his own radio shows on 774 Classic Gold, here in 1998. Leo done a brilliant job of DJ host too. wish i could include some smilies. its brilliant the way you’ve done that. all the best to you too. C

Hi Leo, I fully understand you’re a big fan of f1 and have seen pics of you in f1 on the photograph section of your website, they are wonderful just like you. i too enjoy reading the posts mentioned. and yes, have clicked on the link already. will log onto it in a week from today. know Damon Hill, once played guitar when you sang a song (originally by The Who) titled,
‘My Generation’, at one of the Chiddingfold gigs, I think it was and I was unable to be there but someone very kindly sent me a pic, its near my bed. a big thank you much appreciative. C

Oh, I wonder if that’s Chris Thompson from the SAS Band, Leo Sayer’s musical friends. I have seen Leo’s musical friends perform twice once at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire and secondly at Eastleigh, when Leo was their special guest (at Eastleigh) on Saturday 31st July, 2004. Leo sang a duet with Madeline Bell, if I remember rightly as well as
‘We Are The Champions’and two other songs. I recall that night well, and had a wonderful surprise from Leo Sayer, when he came out just before Judy Tzuke’s support act I think it was, and he spotted me in the front row first a big thank you Leo, much appreciative. I think I recall Chris Thompson being at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire as well as Eastleigh. like the smilies. and have clicked on the link in your message.

If you remember back in 2005 I sent you an E-MAIL Letting you know I had a recording of the KING BISCUIT FLOUR HOUR from THE 1970s I recorded off the air from KOL Radio station here in Seattle. Also If you remember I worked at the Boeing Company, I have now retired and getting on in years this recording may become lost or damaged. I would like to send It to you, I really want nothing in return. I just feel you have it. It was a great show and you showed great energy. Its worth the effort I think. Robert
