I produce and present my own 70s Radio Show every Friday night on a small hospital radio station here in Scotland and I regularly play your songs. This is something that I would consider a great honour.
Thank you for taking the time to read this Leo and I hope you will give my request for an interview some serious consideration. In this time of modern communication, it wouldn’t be a problem

I have followed your career through the music mags like NME over many years from country Victoria.
Took my wife and five tennage children – drove up from the coast and had a wonderful family time
It was my birthday present from the family – great how you can get my whole family together – its not easy with five teenagers in this fast vpaced world.
I still have your original vinyl albuls – I love reading the sleeve notes etc.
The kids were surprised as to how many songs were yours and how your songs are still relevant today
Keep up the great work of connecting with people through your music and shows
Regards,
Michael.

Hi Leo – re-listening to your music after a long break and really enjoying it. Your vocal range is fantastic and seems your music was way ahead of its time. Love to see you back in the UK – don’t forget about us !!
Thanks for evoking some lovely memories with your music leo. Brings me right back to when I was a young Bloke
Mate, it would be lovely if you could do a concert up here in Darwin. It would be a nice warm change especially when it gets a bit cold down south. Hope to see you in the Top End.
Cheers.

Just getting reaquainted with your music after so many years. As a child growing up in central Indiana in the mid 1970’s, my mother would take me to se the Indiana Pacers (NBA) basketball team. One of our favorite times during the games is when they would play “Long Tall Glasses” and everyone would stand up and dance with mascot “Dancin’ Harry”. This is one of my fondest memories of spending time with my mother who passed in 1993. I always think of her when I hear it. Thanks for the memories. Brian Richardson, Huntley, Illinois, U.S.A.
Hi Leo, We saw you on your “One Night Only” tour at the Kedron Wavell RSL in Brisbane. You’ve still got it mate, very impressed. I went that night not really knowing a lot of your songs, had a crash course the week before from my partner who’s a big fan. We really loved the new songs you did, what a great song list for the night. Loved how relaxed you and the band were and the crowd interaction. Thanks for taking time out after the show to sign our posted and T-shirt. Sorry to hear you’re not able to appear at the Perth Zoo we were hoping to see you again. Hope all is well.
I need to sign up for a newsletter etc, can’t find a link. Don’t want to miss a Leo show. I saw him at the Hilton, Sydney in the 90’s for my 27th BD, it was fabulous, simply fabulous.
leo. the show certainly does go on.me..I am a punk baby but i remember my mum tuning in to radio 2, my grandma listening to status quo and “the show must go on” and it still makes sense that you sang good tunes and are still doing it…i am watching ‘one night in sydney’ and i am in beijing one week after my experimental noise band has finished up and your tunes and great, great voice still makes sense….dude, mate, you have great chops and not one member of your band acts like a wanker..nice to see. so, upshot is, tunes matter, singers matter, great performances matter and if ever you are in beijing, say hi, i will take you to a great bar and maybe we can sing together i say that having sung with abigail washburn twice in the last week so think on
take care man
Just want to know if you plan to come to las vegas soon Have seen you perform 3 times and would like to to see one more time thank you for your music has made my world
Leo,
Enjoyed your performance at the Jewish House Fundraiser last night. My niece and nephew loved seeing photos of me with the man from the Wiggles!!!!
Great concert Saturday night (Melbourne, The Palms at Crown)… long time fan, first time Leo concert! Like a great bottle of wine, some things just get better as they get older.
Thanks for a fantastic night at The Palms at Crown on Saturday night (27th Nov). Had an absolute ball. Have seen you there twice now and cannot wait for next time…..
Leo, I’ve been a fan forever. Saw you in concert at the Sydney Ent Centre way back around 83. I still consider that one of the two best concerts Ive ever been to. (the other being Dire Straits around the same time).
Your concert was broadcast as a simulcast on TV and 2Day FM a few days later, so someone, somewhere must have the original recordings. Any chance of getting that concert out on DVD or CD? Please, please, please.
Great story with Leo Sayer tonight on ABC TV
I couldn’t find a place to respond directly on your website – so please forward to all concerned.
Really lover the interview – i was a Leo moderate before – now I am Leo Fan!
Thanks

Hello Leo,
I left a message on the other email site regarding a backstage pass for the Melbourne, November concert. Is there any chance that you could email me and let me know how I go about getting a pass please for this coming concert. In 2008/2009 (not sure of date) I was fortunate to be able to go back stage (with others who did not have a backstage pass either) and have you sign your CD for me that was available for purchase on that night.
My friend also took a photo of both of us on my mobile phone but since then the phone has been damaged beyond repair (broke in half) so I do not have the photo anymore. We live 4 hours drive from Melbourne and going especially for the concert so I would very much appreciate a pass thank you. I am in my early 60’s and feel uncomfortable writing but know no other way of having my wishes fulfilled.
Kind regards,
VAL

I have a volunteer community service dog with no eyes named Myron. Myron and I would love to include a picture of you in his portfolio. We would only take 5 minutes of your time if you would be interested in participating in this.
Hi leo, me and my buddies have been big fans for 25 years. I saw your show 7 years or so ago at Crown when you had the flu but soldiered on anyway and also recently at the Palms in Melbourne.
Just wondering can i book you for a private party? I am a successful business man and would love to have you play at a party I hold. i could work with you on suitable dates.
I live in Essendon Melbourne, if there is any chance can you email me on tcornish@cwmedia.com.au
You can be my ” One man band” ?? LOL
Dear Leo, it was really nice to meet you in Toscany and even a greater pleasure to see and hear you performing. A lot of memories came up and you made us all not only feel but dancing )
Have a good time – all the best from your new fan!

I host “The Sheena Metal Experience”, a daily talk show airing on LA Talk Radio. My show is fun, edgy and informative and I think you’ll be a terrific guest who has a lot to share with my listeners about your music, etc.…and you can plug any projects/gigs you have coming up.
The show broadcasts live out of our Sherman Oaks facility every Monday–Friday 5-7pm. If you’re interested in being a guest, let’s find a day that works for you and we’ll set it up.
When I was growing up in North Wales in the mid 90s, some of my friends and I found an old vinyl of one of your albums. It was the height of Britpop and your incredibly uplifting and moving brand of pop really captured the imaginations of our group. It wonderfully juxtaposed the preening Indie droning of the era and we became a little obsessed with your music.
So much so that we set up the North Wales Sayer Society (NWSS) in tribute – meeting to listen to your music and trying to find as much information as we could in the days pre-internet.
Then one day we read an article by Andy Coulson in The Sun celebrating your legacy and trying to “Bring Back Leo Sayer”. We immediately faxed (yes faxed) The Sun with are support for your music and amazingly we found our names printed in the paper the next day.
Even more suprisingly I had a call the next day inviting us to go on Radio 4’s Today programme to talk about why your music still resonated with teenagers in the 90s. Singing One Man Band on Radio 4 was an odd, but wonderful, experience. To have been selected as one of the few voices in the campaign to revive your music was a true honour. We all beamed with pride when we heard you perform “You make me feel like dancing” to our peers on Radio One, knowing we were blazing a trail with your fabulous music.
Anyway (my story has a point), my friend Dan is getting married in a month’s time and I know he would appriciate it if you would give him a message of congratulations. We are still friends all these years later and I know it would bring back fantastic memories of our youth and the great time we had listening to your music.
Anyway, in the words of Abba, thank you for the music Leo!
Hello Leo Sayer !
I know that You will be performing in Bergen/Norway.I will be
there. Is there a chance that You will sing : “Unlucky in love ” ?
This song have been one of my favorites since it came out.I am often
listening to it.A very powerful and soulful song.
To Leo Sayer
My name is Deb, and I totally love all your music. Endless Flight is the greatest album ever. I know that you probably don’t ever get a chance to read all the letters from all your fans, but I figured I would write to you anyway. I am in grade 8 and my Dad has been teaching me to play acoustic guitar for almost a year now. He is a great teacher and a great dad. He has promised to get me an electric guitar for a graduation gift in June. My Dad loves your music too, and he has all your music. He is going to teach me one of your songs. I want to do something nice for my Dad this year for Fathers Day. Since he collects autographs, I was hoping that there was some way I can get your autograph to give him. Dad says I am too young for eBay, but I do work every Sunday afternoon at the hockey rink, and would be able to pay for it.
I love you alot and I really hope to hear from you.

Hi again Gerardo,
I’ve just realised (remembered more like!) that the “Living In America” track is available on the Edsel UK double re-release package of “Silverbird” and Just A Boy”. You can find it amongst the “Silverbird” bonus tracks. Find out more (and how you can order online) from: “http://www.leosayerreissues.com/silverboy.php”
Hi Gerardo, Thank you for your kind comments and observations. “Living In America” was my first single (for the group Patches) in 1972 (!). I don’t think you can get that on CD anymore, and no video or film was ever made of me singing that, so there’s no YouTube clip unfortunately.
Dear Carol (and all at Child Wise), I’m very sorry that I’ll be overseas when your event is on, but I wish you great success with this admirable cause.
Hi my names is Carol Croce the Development Manager for Child Wise.
Below is a summary of Child Wise and some of the valuable work we have on the go!
Child Wise is a non government organisation committed to fighting against the abuse, trafficking and exploitation of children around the world. Our services consist of direct support, counselling, education, advocacy, program implementation, participatory training, capacity building and research. We are able to offer a comprehensive, strong and specialised service that provides dynamic responses, to protect children all over the world.
One of Child Wises main focus strategies towards child protection is through prevention. Child Wise are currently:
Lobbying the Australian government to amend laws so that child sex travellers can be arrested before they fly out of the country.
Training sessions are being rolled out across Australia to encourage those working with children to “speak up” and report abuse.
In Cambodia we work with the local community to educate on child sex trafficking and to empower those communities to fight against it.
Raising awareness in all communities both National and International to recognise the signs of child abuse and either prevent it or end it.
These are just some examples of our response to child abuse, to find out more please visit our website at http://www.childwise.net.
I am asking for your support in helping to raise awareness around the abuse of children. On the 26th of June 2010 a charity event is being held in Melbourne Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in which we will have 300 to 500 attendees. On this night we hope to raise funds for both our National and International projects as well as gain long term support from the corporate sector. Our big ask is that you could attend the event or any other future events we develop. If you could help our organisation in any capacity we would greatly appreciate it. Child Wise are working hard to lift the veil of silence on child abuse and we are seeking compassionate people like you to work with us.
The other event you maybe interested in will be held at the Bourke St Mall on the 27th July 2010 in conjunction with the Body Shop
Objectives of the campaign are in line with what was held in 2009:
The Stop Sex Trafficking of Children & Young People Campaign
The Stop Sex Trafficking in Children and Young People Campaign was developed by Child Wise and The Body Shop in 2009 to raise awareness amongst the Australian population about the global incidence of child sex trafficking and to support projects working towards the prevention and recovery of child sex trafficking in Cambodia. The Campaign raised funds from the sale of a hand lotion in Body Shop stores throughout Australia and through donations from the Australian public. The Campaign has helped to reduce the vulnerability of girls and boys in Cambodia falling victim to human trafficking. It has also assisted to improve the services provided to children who have been victims of human trafficking, giving them greater opportunity to lead happy and fulfilling lives in the future.
It would be fantastic if you could attend our event on the 26th June 2010 or provide support by way of sponsorship by performing on the night.
Hi Leo, I was impressed with your performance on Rockwiz last night on SBS. Your voice is so clear and what is more impressive is that the energy you radiate can even travel waves and touch you at home. Strange but true. I visited your website and I find it to be one of the very best I have ever seen. Till last night I did know your name but not your music. I did a search on Google and to my surprise I have known your music since I was a kid. Your music brings me back good memories and unfortunately also bad ones and for that I want to thank you. By the way, I like the article that explains your nickname “Patches”, it mentions a song named “Living in America” to which I could not find it in your website or YouTube.
We hold the Down Syndrome Butterfly charity Ball in perth and we would like to know if you are available to perform 22nd may 10 at perth convention centre..
please advise if available
Late tonight while feeling a bit ‘down’ myself I heard again on the radio ‘I Can Dance’ and it filled me with so much joy and memories from decades past when I was a kid as you too were then! And, you visited Melbourne Australia and I saw you then!
Thank you for then and thank you for now!
I trust you are doing well as your musical milestones and personal communications of the heart entitle you to you success.
Well deserved!
Love the new website. My wife and I love the albums Voice in my head and Don’t wait until tomorrow, and of course all the other albums. Most of them we already had on vinyl and recently started to collect all of them on CD. Not all have arrived yet. Hopefully we will be able to join you at Newcastle on the 27th live again and maybe even meet you.
Leo, I would love a signed photo of you for my studio. Would you be able to send me one please? Thanks RIck
What a wonderful night in Fremantle. We feel so privileged to have been able to see you perform for us in such an intimate setting. Your voice honestly sounds better live than it ever did on record.
Your Music Pal.

Dear Kathleen, I hope to be back in concert in Adelaide before Christmas, that’s the plan anyway. Fingers crossed!
when are u coming to adelaide?
Look forward t hearing from you
Hi Leo, I was impressed with your performance on Rockwiz last night on SBS.
Sooo…Ya ever gonna come to Canada…I would love to see a show…Im In Victoria British Columbia….
Dear Lucy, I’d love to help with your event, but I’ll be in Europe then. Good luck and I hope you raise a lot of money during the evening!

Steve
Love the new website. My wife and I love the albums Voice in my head and Don’t wait until tomorrow, and of course all the other albums. Most of them we already had on vinyl and recently started to collect all of them on CD. Not all have arrived yet. Hopefully we will be able to join you at Newcastle on the 27th live again and maybe even meet you.
