We spoke on ABC radio in Adelaide many years ago. You may recall ” the fellow from Shoreham “wishing you well in Australia and said coming here (now 53 years ago) was the best thing we ever did.
My wife Margaret was 80 on the 17th May and I was 81yesterday, the 20th May so a Taurean connection as well.
You have made many happy and thank you Leo.
Have a long and happy life and good health .

I am a 47 year old fellow Ozzie who left the UK in 79 and I grew up listening to your songs, with fond memories of those times. I haven’t heard any of your music for years, for no particular reason…… then just the other day whilst thinking about my wife and life partner whom I met in the first few months of arriving in Australia, your song ‘I love you more than words can say” popped into my head, with all the lyrics!! We have been apart heaps lately due to work commitments and it struck me as amazing that out of all the songs floating around in my head that yours was the perfect one to explain how I felt about the love of my life. Thanks mate for being a part of the good things in life and hope you can keep doing it for years to come. kind Regards, James and Tanya

Hello….^^ Leo!
I’ve heard that you visited seoul this week.
How was your seoul???
The concert was good??????^_________^
I hope you arrive there well! and see you soon!
Grew up to your music and I have always lived in Shoreham by sea. I believe you lived on one of the house boats and also the thatched house in Connaught ave?
If you want any pictures of how Shoreham has changed I will willingly send them?
The Wall’s dry bricks lead to a mouth-Watering contemplation: Roger Waters… waters…. “The Garden of Forking Paths ” which is a 1941 short story by Argentine writer and poet Jorge Luis Borges. The forking took place in time, not in space.
Hello. I saw your show at Melbourne Zoo last year with the family, loved it. I gave one of your crew a copy of my book Standing Room Only because it was about buskers and because you are mentioned in it.
I wonder if it ever got to you? I’m curious if you did, if you liked it?
My friend Nick is a huge fan of yours. It’s his birthday next week and it would be a great surprise if you could send a signed photo of yourself to him. Would that be possible? It would make his life!
Please let me know and I’ll let you know the details.
I have just booked tickets for me and all of my family for your concert in Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on July 5th. This concert will be very special to all of us as my brother John Cross was a very big fan of yours. John recently died tragically after a long, brave battle with Motor Neurone Disease. John was such a big fan of yours that we played your track “One Man Band” during his cremation ceremony. John is survived by our Mam and Dad, four sister and one brother and we will all be at your concert on July 5th.
It would be a very special tribute to our wonderful brother and special moment for all of us if you would consider dedicating “One Man Band” to John on the night.
I cannot explain how much this would mean to us and I know that it would offer some peace in our hearts that we are honouring John and keeping his memory very much alive.
Hey Leo,
Sitting here in my place in Darwin listening and jiving to an “All the Best” CD so I thought I’d check out leosayer.com again to catch up with the latest news and what do I see: “After Seoul, I’m off to Darwin for my birthday (May 21st)…”. Fabuloso! Grab the local gig guide, but Oh No – no Leo gigs listed ;-( Please tell me they’ve got it wrong! Looks like I’ll have to hang out at the Mindil Beach markets on the Sunday night hoping for an impromptu “Leo Sayer Unplugged” concert
Best of luck for your RoK tour and I hope you have a great birthday in the Top End.
Cheers, Brett

Hi Leo,
I first saw you on Whistletest, a looooong time ago and went out the next day to buy Silverbird, which I still have together with Just a Boy, Another Year, Endless Flight, Thunder in My Heart. I was working in Worthing at the time, and used to give a lift to an old guy who worked at the same place but lived in Shoreham – his name was Sam Chetwynd – I think you may remember him (or if your memory is a bit patchy perhaps you’ll remember his son!)
I see you’re on a short tour of the UK later this year, but not coming to the south-east – you really should have a word with your manager! The Dome in Brighton is still a good a venue……..
Hope to get the opportunity of seeing you soon.
Best wishes, Chris.
